New airport to open near Alanya on the Mediterranean coast

TAV, the company responsible for running airports in Istanbul and Ankara has won an auction to operate Gazipasa Airport, near Alanya, on the southern Mediterranean coast of Turkey, the contract is for 25 years. The airport, which is partially completed, is expected to commence operations soon. Property prices in the area is expected to rise.
